Hello Pilot_B737,I tried to build concentric levers with TLE, but i had some interference. Distance between sensors was around 50mm. You can see on photo.
try less magnets size/force.

I try to configure the panel, but I don't, know how .
I upload the firmware (i Think) because, I run the bootloader appear the com port in the device manager , but I didn't see the dos windows to run install. but something was running just a sec.
After that I run the configurator softver I recognise the device, but I don't see any buttons there, and the configurator show the panel when I push "save set to device " the message is: configurator version doesen' meet the firmware version.
I donwload the latest 20161101 and I setup the firm from there.
The handle is connected whith shift reg , How can I set up the buttons on it?

Bootloader leave Arduino ready to receive the firmware uptate - during 8 seconds. . For transfer the firmware used MjoySetup.exe - tab Firmware (as in F15Sim instructions or there https://sites.google.com/site/mmjoyproject/prosivka).
Done this Arduino became a HID (Human Interface Device), and use Windows native drivers.
And the "joystick"?
Is the "MMJ-Reset" you see in MjoyStup.exe,
Don't has buttons or axis because is your option set how many buttons/axes want, as well what "joystick" name (up to 10 characters, I think), after choose use the button "Save Settings for Device" (and ca reconfigure when want).

It sounds like you have mixed the Firmware and the Configurator software versions , ( eg firmware is 2016-8-18 and Configurator is 2016-11-1) but when you see the port number change you need to hit the upload button in the Configurator on the Firmware Panel unless you have the check box ticked to AutoStart upload automatically and have previously put the correct COM Port Number in the Port(arduino) Box.
I did it the same way many times but not good something.
i get yellow sign in The device managger when I plug the device and when I want to upgrade the driver get a messige to this already has a latest driver.
And Not recognise it like Arduino Leonardo (COMxx)". Only standard USB port com 4.
And Where can I change the device name?

[Re: Sokol1]
Have you installed the latest Arduino IDE ? 1.8.3 I think now .....https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software , it should install all necessary drivers if the ones in the MMjoy Folder don't work.
BUT once the Firmware is loaded to the Leonardo, it is no longer seen as a Leonardo in DM, and you will no longer see anything in the DM> COM Ports either except when it is in Boot-loader Mode.... for those 8 seconds only
Once the Firmware is loaded you will see the FLCS or TQS under HID (Human Interface Devices) as a "HID-compliant vendor-defined device" and under USB Controllers as a "USB Composite Device"
If you aren't sure which one is your FLCS or TQS Open the Properties >Details>change property to Hardware ID's> and you will see the PID and VID you assigned in the MMJoy Software at the top right side..see pic
25mm distance, no interference. magnet disk 5mm/2mm
My disk is 8mm/4mm. it's to stronge. But is to difficult find another one.

How much (in percentage) was the maximum interfeerence you did measure?
I did not check, but I could not do the calibration.

I am using TLE5010 on board with 6x2.5 Diametrically magnetised magnets (they are not the ones that came with board).
1 What would be optimal distance from magnet to sensor 1 to 2 mm or something more? 2 What is best to hold on magnet mount - I am using a Stainless bolt. Would epoxy be best or does hot melt glue also work well?
Cheers

Hello Barra,
1. In my opinion 2 mm is good. 2. Cyanoacrylate (easy to remove, but strong enough)

I would say mine are 4-5 mm away (didnt measure it) , I mounted them with 5min epoxy the 1st time , and used hot glue when I re-mounted them recently.
