Looks like a very good show, and great pics! Really sharp, and great exposure.

Some really nice slow shutter / panning shots you've got there. thumbsup Thanks for sharing!

As I'm from the UK it's so unusual to see aircraft against blue skies with sun shining on them ... hahaha

BTW, that German Stug looks like an FV432 'hack' to me ...

Many thanks guys, I have been really trying my panning shots the last couple years. This year I was able to get down to about 1/50 and the focal length between 400-600mm. I was shooting my d4s with the Sigma Sport 150-600, and it's just a fantastic lens (although the weight is killer).

I wasn't able to follow up on the "Stug" but I wouldn't be surprised if it were a remodel. I'd love for you to send some Typhoons over here for a bit, I mean you guys get to see Raptop and Lightning demos, I want a Typhoon!

smile

I'm afraid I can't send Typhoons across the pond to you, but I can share some photos of the RAF Display Typhoon wearing 'invasion stripes' in 2014 (the 70th anniversary of D-Day). Hope you like them biggrin

Very nice FE

I'm looking forward to seeing the RAF Typhoon display at Sanicole Sunset Airshow on 8th September with my grandson, alas this year we don't have VIP tickets but we do have seats in the bleachers with the Friends of Sanicole.
