SB Pro PE 3.0 installation files are still available for download, here. So, even if the disk is defective, you aren't stuck. Note that version 3.01 is no longer available, as it has been superseded by 3.027 (full installer) and the 3.028 hotfix (to be applied later)
Before installing version 3.0 however, you will need to find the CodeMeter runtime software that is suitable for Windows 10 (here). 6.50a is the latest, so download and install that one first before you decide about which Steel Beasts version to install. During the Steel Beasts installation the CodeMeter installer will be called again by the installation script. You should simply click "Cancel" at that point, as you already have a newer version installed.
I presume that you still have your CodeMeter USB stick. In our web shop, we also offer upgrade licenses for version 4.0 which may be worth your consideration. The upgrade license will be stored on the same CodeMeter stick (it can hold up to 1000 different software licenses, from up to 300 different vendors); the web shop sends out two emails to you - the order confirmation, and the URL for the WebDepot server (the "ticket") where you can activate the ticket to generate the additional license in your CM stick.
If you have no CM stick, you can still use our time-based licenses. When using them, no upgrade fees apply, and you can at any time switch from version 3 to version 4 without special preparations.
