Are we playing tonight or is everyone busy with BBQs, family, and observance?

Hi Gin, we discussed it, but I'm not sure what Meat's plan is for tonight.

Family things here will probably keep me busy for the evening, though.

My guess is that MM won't have much attendance tonight.

I won't be able to attend, as I'm out of town and arriving after the session is over.

I have however, been playing with the difficultly settings again, and this time i think i just might have cracked it, a quick test seemed to work ok, so if anyone does get on for some play, let me know how its worked!! the main things - the horrid "enemy spotted" map marks should be gone, as should auto-report .. that is .. IF its worked!

Meat, I'll go play a bit and see if your changes stick. Is it both domination maps or just the 80s version?

Played for 20 minutes in the 80s Russian units version of domination:

1. 1st / 3rd person toggle works
2. can't see enemy units on the map
3. shift click on map works
4. now just delete the damn mortar teams; I'll battle light/med armor all day, but first shot kill mortar teams are a bit much - aren't real mortar teams pretty inaccurate until they get some sighting rounds landed and a spotter to give them corrections?
5. didn't hear any auto-report and I was about 100 meters from a solo sniper unit on a side mission that should have given me a report on
6. I'm not getting auto-killed by anyone besides mortar units and I got a couple of single body shot kills

So I'd say 'mission accomplished' - but I'm not going to put it on a big sign on an aircraft carrier
