The Odds, aka "Dawn Patrol", were the house band for a club called the Roxy in Vancouver for about a decade or more, and despite many good reports, I just never got around to going to see them; I guess I was past that phase by then. My son got into them on the radio, and I found myself quoting phrases of their songs before I knew it was them.

My nephew plays guitar and is better than he thinks he is. I keep telling him to attempt Cliffs of Dover but he backs away from it. He does okay with Van Halen's Eruption, though he worked on it for a long time. He'll never be Van Halen but who will be? Puzzles me why he won't try CoD.
