Nice video! I have often run out of ammo by firing too much too soon, only to find myself parked behind my enemy with nothing to throw at them but the odd Monty Python insult! hahaha Also, I am contractually obligated to mention that if this were me flying, Olham would be reminding me to check my six a lot more! rofl It's a fun match up, unless you were the actual pilots , in which case it must have been nerve wracking! salute

Flying without TrackIR? You are much braver than I! Good job keeping him in front of you. Keep up the good work, sir.

Thanks for the great comments!

@ Rick_Rawlings: I see you made a video of the same matchup! Looks like you got one, too...congratulations!

@ Hellshade...thanks....yes, if I only had more bullets! I do "cheat" a bit...my ancient Logitech Wingman controller has a throttle slider right next to the joystick. I tend not to use the blip button but instead slide either all the way down or all the way up...more or less the same idea. And yes, I have been using the mouse head tracking brought in with the 4.14 (I think) patch. Works well for me.

@ carrick58: Thanks!

I made this video more for informational purposes to spread the excellent-ness of WOFF:UE and all of the possible matchups. There were so few Pfalz E.IIIs at the front (so it seems) that a matchup like this was not too likely, but it is quite cool to see. I set the Enemy AI to "never back down" to make it a bit more interesting.

...and now for the funny story. I let me 5-year-old fly the sim as well (he plays, I play, etc. and he always wants me to "land for him" wink ), and for fun, I put up 20 Snipes against 20 Pfalz E.IIIs over a German airfield...I was surprised how many Snipes were destroyed in the process, and my son, although just fooling around doing crazy aerobatics, had one Hun that was absolutely persistent and was always getting a few pot shots off! :O

Regards,

Jeff

At 6:11, one of my attackers mysteriously flames out and crashes to the ground...still not sure what happened, and I will never know ;)

It's possibly an engine failure, those will happen to the AI, same as you! salute
