O.k.
it's time to make an own thread, cause as things look at the moment ( I hope so
) my project will go further.
Hope I can stay in my flat for the next 2 years, to finish the whole project.
I will post pictures of the project every time something essential is finished.
Now it's time for the first controller which is nearly in it's finished state (only the lettering and the last spraying with silk mat clear paint is missing).
It's not the finest in my collection, not to say the surface is real ugly
, but it's not my main occasion to fly the big birds, so I haven't spent to much attention in its finish.
This throttle quadrant will be placed at the location where the F-16 SSC is normaly placed. I use it with an Flight-Yoke (still under construction) or an Airbus like Side-Stick (also under construction). It had to be small to fit it's place, but I even want to have four engine levers, a prop and a mixture control, a reverser, pitch-roll-yaw-trim and some buttons for spoilers, flaps and the fuel control.
This is one of the controls I used the MMjoy2 project for. There are two ArduinoPro Micros in for controling the 10 axis. The buttons run over an Arduino Mega R3 with the use of Link2FS Keys. This way it's possible to program all buttons with keyboard emulation. The three cards are connected to a USB-Hub and could be separately switched on and off for programming or firmware flashing.
If anyone is interested I could make a picture of the inside. At the moment the paint have to dry, that's the reason I couldn't make a snapshot of it now
.
