O.k.

it's time to make an own thread, cause as things look at the moment ( I hope so sigh ) my project will go further.
Hope I can stay in my flat for the next 2 years, to finish the whole project.

I will post pictures of the project every time something essential is finished.

Now it's time for the first controller which is nearly in it's finished state (only the lettering and the last spraying with silk mat clear paint is missing).
It's not the finest in my collection, not to say the surface is real ugly biggrin , but it's not my main occasion to fly the big birds, so I haven't spent to much attention in its finish.

This throttle quadrant will be placed at the location where the F-16 SSC is normaly placed. I use it with an Flight-Yoke (still under construction) or an Airbus like Side-Stick (also under construction). It had to be small to fit it's place, but I even want to have four engine levers, a prop and a mixture control, a reverser, pitch-roll-yaw-trim and some buttons for spoilers, flaps and the fuel control.

This is one of the controls I used the MMjoy2 project for. There are two ArduinoPro Micros in for controling the 10 axis. The buttons run over an Arduino Mega R3 with the use of Link2FS Keys. This way it's possible to program all buttons with keyboard emulation. The three cards are connected to a USB-Hub and could be separately switched on and off for programming or firmware flashing.

If anyone is interested I could make a picture of the inside. At the moment the paint have to dry, that's the reason I couldn't make a snapshot of it now biggrin .

Thanx Marc for your support, but in my eyes it's really ugly!

Same will be with the Yoke and the Airbus like Stick, but I have to make a compromise to get all under one hood and have as much functions available as possible.
I want to fly normal Airliners with this controllers, but also some other stuff. So I have decided to make those "civil" controllers less realistic.

Here is the inside pic of the airliner-throttle. The main engine axis and the reverser are connected to one ArduinoPro and the rest (Trims, prop and mixture are connected to the other one. The buttons and switches are connected to the Arduino Mega R3. Those three boards are in the top of the housing. The two toggles at the side of throttle on the main plate are momentary (I)|0|(I)-switches. They are used for seat adjust simulation (FSX or something else: point of view forward and backward / up and down)

In the bottom is the USB-Hub which all boards are connected to. I have made them on/off switchable for programming and firmware flashing.

This ugly thing was made with the use of an old tobacco tube box (lever housing), eight cola caps (knobs at the engine levers), four computer slot shades (lever itself), a cap of a meat broth (elevator trim), a rest of a CH Flight Stick Pro base and some other knobs I had lie around biggrin . Eight normal pots and two linear ones are used.

@Kbird

Yes you are right. I will make a new thread for the whole pit in the "Flight Sim Pit Builders" section called "Universal Cockpit Project". I think it suits better there
