Obviously this film is in the same vein as the Sharknado films. Their entertainment value comes from being intentionally over the top campy.

The first had some of the best space battle eye candy EVER. Even had a cool, if unbelievable, plot. If only it hadn't been wrapped up in a horrible wtf foreign humor comedy. The only movie that compares is Star Wreck:in the Perkining. The BEST all time space battles, horrible comedy.
Check the battles out on YouTube, but don't bother with the movies.

IIRC, Iron Sky was one of the first crowd funded movies. I could be wrong.

Yes it was along with that Veronica Mars movie.

Well, they had 95% of the film financed, but ran out of money near the end. That was when kickstarter came to the rescue.

Vienna, 2nd rock left.
I actually had forgotten that I crowdfunded the sequel...

I found the first one pretty funny. Maybe easier to get as European, especially Austria/Germany where this "Hitler lives, Nazis survived" thing had more entertainment value.
