At first I thought those were pics in Belgium but then I noticed the shop signs were in English so it must be Scotland! They are in Belgium! Yeah I'm ok and I take the car in for an estimate tomorrow, hardly felt the impact, it was the noise of the crunching plastic on the ford that gave me the fright

It looks like Belgium, or maybe there is an exception in Scotland and cars ride on the right lane (look 3rd pic) Glad it's only material, even if we are never happy about that. Edit: too late

English is used a lot here, especially in advertising, the local baker runs her signs past me before putting them out as she once put a sign out that didn't read good at all. The one she has out just now says "Chocolate is like a hug on the inside" advertising their home made artisanal Belgian Pralines Thanks for that interesting info Alicatt and I'm glad that no one was hurt in the little "bang up" that occurred. @ RSColonel - I hadn't thought of that!

Got the estimate for the repair: £2007/$2588/€2368 OUCH! Won't the other driver's insurance cover that? You are not at fault in this incident.
