Hello all,

I had EECH a long, long time ago. I just recently learned that the source code was made available and as a result there's a huge modding community. The screenshots look great, and I am very excited to play again on a modern PC rig.

So tonight I will be downloading EEAH/EECH from GOG and installing. I wanted to make sure I had this right:

1) install EEAH, start it up, then exit
2) then install EECH, do not start this game up
3) run the eech-allmods-1.16.0FIX1-installer ?

And that's it, right? I don't need to install multiple patches, etc?

Second question. I have a Saitek X52 Pro. For anyone who has this, are you using the throttle as collective and the joystick as the cyclic? Or is it better to use just the joystick and use keyboard for collective?

Oh, and I'm on Win7 x64, if that makes any difference.

You're just about right with the install instructions.

There's more instructions on the wiki, at the bottom of the main page...

There's not a huge modding community at the moment, I think it's just me recently, but there have been quite a few in the past.

I can't help with the Saitek though. If you do a search through older posts in this forum, you might find some information.

There are a couple of pages on the wiki about Saitek although not sure if they're much use...

Edit: Oh, and welcome! Nice to see there are still new players coming to this old sim.

Thanks for the welcome, and the for the answers. I cannot wait to get flying again!

So far I've only seen some youtube videos and screenshots of what the game looks like with 1.16 and previous patches, but it looks like you've done a great job, so thanks in advance!

I hope you enjoy it. My only contribution so far has been the hesco barriers around the Farps. But hopefully my Blackhawk cockpit will come along some time this year.
