The hurricanes protecting my il-2s in a campaign during the early stages of stalingrad are having a tough time dealing with the Italian Macchi 202s flying in the area. Sometimes even 4 hawker hurris are not even to deal with just 2 of the 202s, the bullets seem to bounce off, watched on external camera instances where they would bounce off with 5 well aimed bursts by the hurricanes. In other instances they just out fly the hurricanes. Is this true?

I seem to recall the original AI MC202 had damage model problems. I do not believe DGen campaigns were updated with the new flyable MC202. Try flying against the old AI version and the new MC202 in the QMB.

maybe it's just the weak .303 guns on the hawker?

Flew against the old AI and new flyable MC202 with the Hurricane MK.IIB. Had no problem downing the new MC202 with .303 Brownings.
