I was listening to the radio today and "Another Brick In The Wall" came on. I know the words to this song just fine, but it took me back to when I was a kid when it first came out and I had to laugh and tell my wife.
Back in the day I always thought they sang "No Dukes of Hazzard...in the classroom". It made sense to me back then because it was said with an English accent...lol. (No dark sarcasm in the classroom)
There's also John Cougar's "Jack and Diane" that when I was younger when it first came out I thought he sang "Let the Papa Bear come and save my soul"...which never made any sense but I sang it anyway...lol. (Let the Bible Belt come and save my soul...(The Bible belt is midwestern USA))
I never knew what John Cougar was saying in that line either.
My girlfriend is always mis-hearing lyrics. One of my favorites of hers was the Collective Soul song "Shine." She didn't think this was right, but she thought it sounded like they were saying "Rabbit let your light shine down," instead of "Heaven let your light shine down."

How many people butchered this one back in the days of 8-track players:
Blinded by the Light Manfred Mann's Earth Band
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce Another runner in the night Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce Another runner in the night Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce Another runner in the night
Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

I liked the song anyway, even before I understood one word of it.
The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in Gives way and suddenly it’s day again The sun is in the east Even though the day is done Two suns in the sunset, hmph Could be the human race is run
Louie Louie Richard Berry CHORUS: Louie Louie, oh no Me gotta go Aye-yi-yi-yi, I said Louie Louie, oh baby Me gotta go Fine little girl waits for me Catch a ship across the sea Sail that ship about, all alone Never know if I make it home CHORUS Three nights and days I sail the sea Think of girl, constantly On that ship, I dream she's there I smell the rose in her hair. CHORUS Okay, let's give it to 'em, right now! GUITAR SOLO See Jamaica, the moon above It won't be long, me see me love Take her in my arms again Tell her I'll never leave again CHORUS Let's take it on outa here now Let's go!!
now imagine 6 teens, sitting around our campfire, listening to a transistor radio, arguing about that song's lyrics. We all had our own versions...

Rapped up like a douche...... was what I heard.
Not to mention what I also hear in that song: "...little early birdie gave my anus curly whirley and asked me if I need a ride..."

This is a classic. All the words you thought you heard to Joe Cocker's "A Little Help from my Friends"
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein
