A few weeks ago, the Museum of the American GI in College Station, TX hosted its annual WW2 living history weekend. It's one of the largest WW2 reenactments in the South, and there were a lot of great exhibits. Two of the best, imo, were a uniform collection that was displayed alongside the personal story of the serviceman/servicewoman who wore it and an exhibit that showcased US uniforms, weapons and kit from the late 1800s through WW2. The vehicles took center stage, however. All of them at the event are in running condition. Most were WW2 era, but there were a few Vietnam/modern vehicles and one WW1 truck. The WW1 truck also works. The reenactment was a lot of fun too. Nothing like seeing and hearing all those WW2 beasts in action! If you're ever in the area in late March, when it's held, I highly recommend it. Here are the photos I took at the event:
