Run your swifty chaps! Its very likely you'll have to open swifty, let it update itself (you should see a hint bottom right of your monitor) and then re-run swifty so you have the latest version. Once done just click the update for SHQ and let it download, its about an 8-9 gig download so dont leave it till sunday night

For those that haven't started downloading yet, I would advise you to start sooner than later. I'm getting 50MB/s. If you wait for Sunday, you might be SOL come Monday.

Soooo....is anybody having problems downloading the update?

I downloaded yesterday and I got a failed download. I tried again today. It make be redownload the whole update again (~8GB). I got another error that didn't allow the update to complete. When I clicked check for updates to the modpack, it said I had to redownload 8GB again.

Anybody know what's going on?

hmm thats a new one on me! Does it stop at a particular file?? If so, tried deleting that file and trying again??

Failing that, the only other thing i can think of is checking the swifty temp folder, deleting whats in there, then trying again (it wont re-download the entire 40 gig, just restart the new stuff)

I haven't had a chance to try the second part of your response yet, but regarding the first part....the download went through all the ~8GB of files and I didn't get that message until the download was apparently complete.

Also, when I first downloaded the mod pack a few months back, swifty seemed to save progress and there was a pause button. with the version I'm using now, there does not appear to be a pause button and no progress is saved. I had to start from the beginning the second time.

I'm having the same problem Saghen, it said to see the log for the files that could'nt be downloaded, but then it disappeared. So I've been running the download again. I was half way through when I had to shut the PC for the night. I'll start it again this morning and see if it will complete. I'll post how this works out later today.

one odd thing I noticed, it starts off downloading 1 of 697 files, then part way through it says downloading xxx of 64,111 files.

Tried again this morning, it ran for an hour and then reported "Error - check the log file for details." The log file is 10, 241 kb, and has
thousands of lines exactly as below but different file names ?

Actually, I spent a while going through the log file and the "Missing Modified- addons\CUP_Dubbing_Radio_CZ_ACR.pbo" changes, for example
to "Missing Modified- addons\cup_terrains_cwa_signs2.pbo" then "Missing Modified- addons\cup_terrains_cwa_signs2.pbo" and then another and
another, etc. I can send you the log file if you want Meat. Just PM me your email if you need it.

My download hasn't progressed far enough yet to encounter this.

I think every file it tries to download, fails. That's what the log file appears to show. That's probably why when you restart it, it appears to download everything again.

Meat, what version of Swifty are you using and can you post screenshot of download and file locations mentioned in Swifty?

i got the same error when i'd deleted my stuff, so i'll re-do the repo and re-upload, version should be 2.1.7

I downloaded it a third time and it still didn't work,so I'm kind of happy you didn't get it to work. Happy it's not just on my end.

Ok, finally reached the point where I got the red dialog box that says "not all files downloaded correctly".

I was unable to locate my log file before I had to go do other things, so I'll try again on finding that tonight, if ti's of use.

I'd check your log file Ads. I believe that every file that it tried to download failed. If so you might want to wait until Meat figures
out whats wrong. BTW, the default folder for your log files is C:\Users\{logon name}\AppData\Roaming\Swifty.

ok, may have gotten it, i'm certainly not getting errors my end now, so everyone try again and cross your fingers!

If it does work, i recomend leaving it on and downloading .. and go paint the house or summing :p

Very strange you should say that ... I am painting the house ... so I guess I'll let it run !

have you made sure your running the latest swifty? (v2.1.7) Mine downloaded without issues when i checked again this morning.
