It's been a couple of years since I last watched, and am feeling like I should fire it up again.

Advice, experience, whatever, appreciate any feedback.

I think I've seen the film at least 4 or 5 times. It's a great film but not one that I feel compelled to watch every year. That may have to do with the fact that I'm not a huge fan of the Western genre in general but there are some rare exceptions. smile

I watch the whole Fistfull of Dollars "trilogy" (For a Fistfull of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly) once a year. I love the Ennio Morricone soundtrack so much.

I like "Fistfull of Dollars" as well but whenever I watch it all I can think of is how it's an inferior version/remake of the Kurosawa classic "Yojimbo". smile

I've been listening to the old Gunsmoke radio show on Zootradio for the last couple of months. It's the last thing I do in the evening before heading to bed. Nice and relaxing.

Just watched TGBU the other night...classic! You do need 3 hours to set aside for this one though.

The Outlaw Josey Whales was on last night...caught up to it about a quarter way through...couldn't turn it off. Another good one!

You know a film score is really special when it can be listened to on its own without the film and it still holds up.

"Vanishing Point" (1971) is the one I like to re-watch every so often. Love it.

I enjoyed The Ballad of Little Joe. Quite different from Outlaw Josey Wales, or other famous Westerns, but interesting in it's own right.

Ennio Morricone is one of my go-to music listens. I particularly like TGTB&TU and Once Upon A Time In The West (best movie reveal ever IMO).

I had the good fortune to see Ennio live in Prague a couple of months ago. Great gig.

Love me some Firefox, Honkeytonk Man...even his lesser work is still pretty good.
