The Bayou
Thanks Weasel_Keeper and oldgrognard. smile

WK, it would have been nice to at least have an A-10 on display. I was thinking how disappointed I was not to see an F-35 (as advertised) or an F-22, but then I'm an 80's man so I should just be happy to see Legacy Hornets still performing (Hornet A's since 1986, C's since 2010).

OG, in all seriousness, I had no idea where the smoke actually came from... smile

"A variety of changes, mostly internal, would need to be made to the Supers before they would be suitable for duty with the Blue Angels: First, the gun would need to be removed and replaced with both the reservoir and various tubes and pipes for the smoke system, which also has a pump near the tail to actually dispense the liquid into the hot exhaust to produce the smoke."

EDIT: Wife also wore her Blue Angels t-shirt, but we couldn't find her cap. Going to have to pick up more Blue swag at the Pensacola museum. We're also going to try to catch a practice performance, use to be on Tuesdays.

The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in
Gives way and suddenly it’s day again
The sun is in the east
Even though the day is done
Two suns in the sunset, hmph
Could be the human race is run
