Ray sent me the skin and FM folders for his new aircraft. I have added them to the "Aircraft_Inventory"
He also sent me some updated weapons files,so I have added them to "GameData"
So in the "160Special" folder at MediaFire there is a "160Update20April2017.exe"- as usual a 7-zip self installer to be run in the "UAW150V4" folder.

In my "UAW150V4" folder there is a heap of theatres and planesets that are not really suited to online games. With Lolo returning, and Modred flying at GameRanger I have made a 160 folder specifically for GameRanger flying.
I do not intend to modify it, other than by adding and releasing more scripts for the host.
So I 7-zipped the entire folder and uploaded it.
It is a 686 MB download named "160MP".
It has my ini file in it, so you will need to replace it with yours.
This is what is installed in the "160MP" folder

The only thing a new user might need is the VisualBasic runtime file installation, so that the two utilities work.
If you run "PSM160GR" and get an OCX related error message then you need to install the runtime files on your system.

".........of mice and men"

The "MPU160GRV2exe" is used by the host to create new scripts, and it needs five files in the theatre folder in order to draw the map, the targets and the frontline
The default theatre folder in the download does not contain them because the eaw.exe uses the default files in the "GameData" folder.
So there is a patch for anyone who wants to use the "MPU160GRV2exe" to create new scripts. It is in the 160Special folder ant MediaFire, and named "Default Theatre.exe".
Running it in the 160MP folder will add the missing files, and a few others, to the "Default Theatre" folder.

As of today the download and installation sequence is this.

1. From the "160Special" folder download and run "160MP.exe" to create the "160MP" folder.
2. Replace my "eaw.ini" file with yours.
3. Download "160Update20April2017.exe" and run it in the "160MP" folder.
4. Download "160MPApril26thAdditions.exe" and run it in the "160MP" folder.

On the horizon:
Ray has modified some of his aircraft files, and has asked me to make a patch wink

Yes, what happened is that the x-planes inventory contains a couple of aircraft with 20mm revolver cannons, similar to what was included with SPAW45 and The General's War.

In those scenarios I made a sound substitution of the 30MM cannon sound because the original wasn't needed.

We can't do that with the possible mix of planes now available in 1.5 / 1.6 so Jel added the sound by editing the exec.

So I had to edit a couple of flight files to take advantage of the mod.

BTW, the revolver cannon is great for bomber intercepts and ground attack. Not so much for dogfighting. You run out of ammo right quick.

Heck, even paranoids have enemies.
