Yes, Ice hours. Wanna try ITO?

I can put something up. Maybe around the same time as last Sunday?

I just got my new internet stuff and absolutely nothing worked (I'm not even surprised, comhem.se, please go end yourself) and now trying to restore my network my gaming rig is still offline.
Feel free to insert 452 smoking Finnish curse-words to read this post as it was meant to be written.
Not sure I will have this up and running tomorrow but I hope so.

paska!

Yes, if we did ITO it would be a furball clusterduck of the first order. I have an Under Siege going in the Balkans, so we could just do that. You guys could help me win my campaign.

Hahaha, you need to get a little Finnish yourself. That's not even close to rude enough biggrin

Sorry guys, Flight Ops Officer just slotted in a quick sortie for this afternoon so 5pm BST is a bit tight. I'll be available by 6.30pm... sorry if this has caused any issues and feel free to go ahead without me if the time shift has caused any inconvenience.

No problem. I'll put something up and hang around for a bit. I think Oden broke his internet. I'm OK with Balkans or Israel, but I'll start off with Under Siege in Balkans.

Hooked up with Ice for a flight yesterday, thanks Iceman.

I said earlier ITO would be a clusterduck, and it was, but not for the reasons you might expect. No one was around, so I fragged a simple strike against an army camp along the border to hit with JDAMs in Block 52s out of Hatzerim. I had just begun my takeoff when Ice jumped on. So I exited so that Ice could join me. When he was set we committed to taxi and took off. Once airborne I went to set up my bombs and saw something wasn't right. Looked outside and saw LGBs hanging there. D'oh! I had forgot to change the loadout after having exited and restarted.

So as we are heading toward the target I'm trying to have Ice give me a quick primer. Do I need to set combat laser? How long of an auto-lase? Blah blah.

Ice says " I have 23s on the radar"

Picture. "Dumbass 1-1, MiG-23s, four-ship, 10 miles"

Ten miles!?!

Oh sh!t

We tried just sneaking by. The 23s were low and we hoped to just skate on by. But they saw us and engaged Ice. He was shot down and killed. I was shot down shortly after, managing to eject.

Lesson learned...don't be a dumbass.

We flew it again, but this time the 23s were shot down by AI. As we were approaching the target we were meeting MiG-29s. At the IP Ice engaged them and I dropped my bombs. I hit my target, and in the excitement quickly chose a second target, which turned out to be Ice's primary. D'oh!

Ice went all-- well Iceman on 'em -- shooting down four. I came off target and tried to help, getting a slammer in to a Fulcrum, but only for damage. I orbited for a bit hoping to get off more of the FIVE remaining missiles, but Ice was Winchester and I didn't want him to get shot down while I stooged around and we flew back to base and landed.

One more thing to do Before I die.
Fly as Dumbass 1-1 biggrin

Sounds as if this ITO is a bit much, right?

Hey Oden, you got the new pipe up and running?

ITO isn't too much, no. I just make it sound that way with reports of my failures and f-ups.

Trying to get kills with heavy ground ordnance is a challenge. I guess I was just lucky or the AI was just dumb. You also forgot my 3x attempts at dropping bombs... forgot to turn the damn things on!! Too busy with other things, I guess!

I don't remember seeing any smoke from the ammo depot so I never thought you'd have hit it previously.
