caught the Italian Typhoons, 2 767's (new KC-46) and 2 Italian Hercs come in last Sat. Haven't edited many shots yet, just these few. Terrible lighting when landing this way, hard to get a good vantage point with the sun behind you.. First group of 4 on the overhead break Not sure if he's waving or actually slowing down... short of touchdown

Hah! Good pics nevertheless. I think I know some of those guys! oh really? We heard the pilot talking to some couple along the fence that they're coming back after RF. Nice article about the process they went through to make it happen. Now only if they'd use their AB's like the RAF does Very happy to hear they'll be some more visits from the Italians. http://www.seacoastonline.com/news/20160221/military-training-has-everyone-looking-up

Markings and fuselage numbering is clearly from our other base (Gioia del Colle) so I do not work there, but I've been there and we have EFA Drivers coming from all bases to train so- highly likely.
I'm always curious about Reheat usage. Despite the huge cost in fuel it's a nice thing to happen to watch...

Great stuff! I grew up on Pease AFB as a SAC brat. My old man was an FB-111 pilot and was the last squadron commander there before it closed. Went to school in Rye and Portsmouth and we still have a home near Wallis Sands beach.
Love that place. A lot of your pics are taken from the same places I used to watch from all day long or while performing SOF duty with my dad.
Keep em coming!
