Hi.
I've struggled with this for about 3 weeks, please could someone who knows their 'stuff' help me with my problem?
I am playing Elite Dangerous and using, a Warthog
HOTAS and the Two MFD's from the Cougar pack.
If I do NOT use TARGET at all, then Elite Dangerous sees each of my 4 controllers as seperate HID Device / Joysticks and I am able to keybind by pressing a button on each MFD to make a unique keybinding. Even if I use OBS1 on each MFD for seperate keybindings it all works correctly.
However, I also need to have two OBS buttons perform a keypress macro. The only solution is to use TARGET.
I have not made any changes to the stick or throttle, the TARGET profile only includes BOTH MFD's.
However, once I have added the necessary macros, and run the TARGET profile, Elite Dangerous now sees BOTH MFD'S as ONE SINGLE HID JOYSTICK, so now OBS1 on the Left MFD can be bound to a key in-game, but pressing OBS1 on the RIGHT MFD does the same keypress, even though it was never bound to anything in-game.
So my problem seems to be that to use macros, Target is making both MFD's turn into one notional joystick such that each button on one MFD is mirrored on the other MFD.
Is there a way to make TARGET retain them as two separate controllers, whilst still allowing me to use TARGET to create keyboard macros?
Please help
Thanks
