Just looked up the cast list and I didn't recognize anyone. I had no idea this was on ABC.

Yeah, it had no names, no chemistry, and no chance.

I watched the pilot ep and never watched another, especially when I heard how dismal its ratings were.

And the pilot got the highest ratings of the series!

Yeah, obviously a lot of viewers didn't care for what they saw and tuned out after the pilot. Same thing happened with Caprica but at least that show had some well known talented actors in it.

That was a lame attempt to revive a fairly lame movie from the 70's/early 80's as a tv show. Or that's what I took from it. HG Wells, time machine, brings Jack the Ripper to present day....no thanks.

I actually like the 1979 film by Nicholas Meyer. Malcolm McDowell and David Warner were perfectly cast imho.

The show lacked the chemistry the film had. It lacked the talented actors, mainly.

It was also nice getting to see McDowell play a GOOD guy for once. smile

OH, one more currently running sci-fi show is "Rick and Morty."

The new season starts this summer, and they released the first episode last weekend. The show is... hilarious. Don't knock that it's a cartoon. If I want to laugh, it delivers, every time.

Anyone here watched "People of Earth"?
