Yep...same thing mid flight. Time compression was paused when I backed out.

With the Blue Victory in Iron Fortress server will now be ArmA3 for a week.

If interest is reasonable I can host again after this pause.

So I was thinking about this last campaign and how poorly it ran for me connectivity-wise. What was the difference? The last week of the Balkans campaign ran great, very few issues. And BoP is a much bigger campaign, and I was thinking that smaller campaigns would perform better, with fewer objects and so forth. So what was the difference? And I concluded it was the weather. We sort of bungled the weather map in BoP, and I don't think it was ever running on auto map update. Could that be the cause of some of these issues, that when the weather changes, the program has trouble updating and sharing this with clients? Could it be the cause of the pause?

So if and when we run another I propose we do so with no weather map and no auto update. If it proves successful, I would propose that we run the one after that with a weather map but still leave auto update off as a test. Worth a shot anyway.

Not sure if this is an issue with the server (possibly happened during blue text pauses) but watch my wingman, Cowboy 12 and his erratic flying / teleportation.

He teleports about 15 miles and then ejects...

An idea to make your dedicated server AWACS friendly. Not checked in depth but that could be neat.

You will set PAKS and sliders, reserve a squadron? I don't know if you caught my post somewhere, but I suggest no weather map and no auto-updates for the next one to see if that causes any of our connectivity issues.

I'd vote for Veteran or Ace challenge level too.

I did a number of those 50kts in early Tiger Spirit we had but slammed the wing and the plane to smithereens most often

Haha me too. The FPM suddenly appeared at about 30 feet AGL and I was down. Much cool. I would guess 20 to 30 degrees of crab. The Viper is such an awesome jet.

The first 12 hours of Rolling Fire are awesome. Looking forward to kicking it off. Oden, perhaps a large vat of coffee for you and we will see you later then. I might do a SDB HART attack. Get cane to do the same and maybe we can knock out 230 targets in a mission
