That first Delta Force was the first game I ever played over the internet. I made up some stupid name. I think I called myself Black Cat Ranger. I have no idea what that means smile

lol Blade. I remember how much I hated the guys who sat on ridgelines and plinked everyone with Barretts. So I spent a lot of time trying to sneak up on 'em and knife them. I did alot of co-op and TDM. You always remember your first one!

I loved this one too, and it was my first online playing against my brother squad. Was very funny to see his reaction first time a total noob killed him that was a pro playing this!

-Sir in case of retreat, were we have to retreat??

I loved the first and second and Blackhawk Down. Wasn't there supposed to be a new Delta Force by Novalogic some years ago called Fallen Angel or something? Maybe that's the one Blade is talking about. I'd be happy too for GOG to bring in the Comanche Series. Maybe DF coming to GOG will help Novalogic? I'm also curious blade as to how they are still around as you never hear from them and somehow they are still going?

Never did play BHD, at least that I can recall. I did play Land Warrior a lot, but I don't think any of the titles that came after that. Still, lots of fun, and that Voxel engine was the bees knees back then.

Yeah, I always loved the way the sky and clouds looked. Felt so organic and real and a nice change from the normal painted sky boxes.

I was really into DF2 online. I loved the way grass had that chaotic fractal texture to it. You really had to inch your way left and right to peek through it.

Probably the last multiplayer game I was really any good at. Really high-level tactical games too on the right servers.

Then with Land Warrior they dumped the fractal grass for a fancier looking but far more bland terrain which killed the atmosphere to me. I kept going back to DF2 until the servers died.
