I believe there are new missions from Gongo and Bonchie, both unplayed from last week. I will get the mission names later tonight.

See you there!

I just have the FOB attack mission that we didn't really finish last week. We really needed more than four people for that one.

But I'll try to get a new mission ready for tonight as well. Maybe on that new XCam map

Oh, I forgot to ask. What was it that was causing the server issues last Monday?

Downloading the modest update now. If it completes in time I should be there. (If I beg to fly the helicopter, tell me "No!" no matter how much I insist. If I board a flying seat shoot me in the head)

Haha... Smokin biggrin

The best crash I remember in our sessions had to be Taosenai (IIRC). We had just started a mission, with infantry aboard a covered truck, support Little Bird overhead. The truck was racing along a highway into the urban center where our mission would be carried out, and Tao in the helicopter was close overhead, low and keeping pace with the truck. It was such a cool scene.

Then in a flash, the helo is a fireball. The highway ran under a large string of power lines, and the helo had flown right into them while following the truck.

biggrin

Just finished a new mission.

I may be a little late tonight, so play something from the library to start.

Classic crash. I was hoping it was more Bond-like with the helo following the truck into a tunnel...unsuccessfully.

Looks like I won't make it. Swifty has me at 46% 5 hours into the process.

Yep, fun mission you built Gongo, a nice change of pace.

Nice play all around, tonight!

Absolutely! I'm also glad we had a decent turnout.

Wrong franchise, that was Mission Impossible, the first film. Bond never managed to try that one, likely because they did things for-real almost always and that had to be CG, of course.

I changed up the XCam Taunus mission we played Monday. Now it's just one LZ so we can blob it, extraction chopper is invulnerable to avoid any issues if we call it in while it's hot, fixed the misspelling of officer, and added a fog layer (!!).
