You can tell me if the length of BBC case is OK in this drawing, the only reference I have is Spade diameter what result very vague.
In the drawing the scale is X 1000 to make easy draw small curves in Sketchup (their curves is a bunch of straight lines...), 6450,4mm will be 6,45 cm ~ 2.54 inches. I just want a good look, not a ~100% copy.
My "interpretation" of fire-safety mechanism - KG-14 grip style - a lever will block press the buttons:
Just as curiosity, as I plan use momentary electric buttons and not pneumatic system, but you know how safety work in original BBC?
By this drawing I figure that Safety-and-Fire Plate and Safety-and-Fire Cam rotate the Barrel's with Press-Button by this small pins over the plates.
But don't imagine how this will block the trigger Pressure Plate to press the valves...
Hi mate, Will double check my physical printed model but here is the 3d design.Measurements are at bottom Looks like the locking gear pins rotate and lock the barrels in place.
Been lurking for some time. I thought I had an account here, but couldn't find it. I'm in the process of building an instrument panel for the Hurricane in CloD. I try to fly with the guys in ACG whenever I'm not sent somewhere on business.
So far I have a working prototype for the RPM gauge using an arduino driving a stepper motor, and some switches mounted onto a piece of plywood.
I've been looking all over for dimensions or plans for the panels but haven't been able to find them. Have been talking to 453Raafspitty on ShapeWays who has been nice enough to send me a GIF he had.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on where I might find any more details.
I was supposed to go visit R4118 to take photos and dimensions last time I was in England, however her timing and mine didn't sync. Just my luck with women Next time I'm over there I'll try again.
Been busy on a simpit design for a customer..Guess what it is..
is your client a colonial looking for the 13th tribe?
POLITICS, WAR, ECONOMY, CONTROVERSY! and other heated discussions and debates in the PWEC sub-forum at the bottom of this forum main page. See you there!

That's a great first attempt falveg. Only another 16 gauges to go! Visit the "Show us your Cockpit" thread on the ACG website, to see how we are all attempting the same thing!
I use some of Spitties designs for my own Hurricane instrument panel. The entire Blind Flying Panel uses his Bezels. The Gunsight uses his support bracket (about to order another one). The Oil/Fuel Pressure gauges are his too (until working ones can be made). I also purchased some of the switch gear, but it was easier to just install genuine parts as they were electronically ready to plug in to the 0836X board.

That looks amazing..You should put plans up as the Hurri is a very undeserved project.. Working on some rare MkI Spit pieces at the moment..Landing light control and the Tr9 radio controller..
