On Sunday, 19 March 2017, Kanium hosted their usual weekly session. This mission is part of the Kampfgruppe Wolf campaign, a campaign that aims to carry over the task organization, damage to units, and supply statuses from mission to mission.

As the Company Commander of Bravo Company, composed of 3x Tank Platoons (Leopard 2A4) and 2x Mechanized Infantry Platoons (2x Marder 1A3) organic, and 2x Artillery Batteries attached (M109), I was given the Commander's Intent that we delay the enemy's planned offensive for 120 minutes. To accomplish this, I decided to conduct a spoiling attack on the enemy's forward positions to seize them, and deny the enemy the ability to stage his forces above the 38 northing.

By the end of this mission, Bravo Company certainly punched above its weight by destroying 53 enemy vehicles at a cost of 4 vehicles destroyed.

Was a very interesting game. Although 5-platoon was hit by bad luck....and enemy arty.

Bold plan by our CO, but it turned out nicely! I only would like to see a bit more "self preservation" by the boss ;-)
