Always liked him in the movies. Seems like the kinda of guy you could have a beer with - and get in trouble with the law afterwards. Anyway, good deeds should not go unnoticed. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-berkshire-39344643

I'm surprised he even found out about it, hardly the sort of thing that would've garnered wide attention.
Still, something he certainly did not have to do, nice of him to make one woman's whole week. Month, probably.

I like that he didn't seek credit, just did it. That makes it genuinely nice. One of the good ones.

Right, if a dozen reporters with cameras had followed him in that certainly would alter the meaning. This is like when Tom Hanks took pics with the couple having their wedding pics taken in Central Park. Just popped over for a couple of shots during a jog. If the couple hadn't posted the shots online no one would've known. The Jedi Master

I listen to it all the time at work, along with (old) Ry Cooder tracks, and Ennio Morricone.

The Jedi Master I don't get it. It's fairly routine for celebrities to make these types of stops. Why is this garnering any attention?

Mark love that show and usually watch it once a year,,Even got the music from it on a cd,,My mate was country and I mean old time country like Hank at the grand old oprey.. Cool. I don't go *that* far back but wife has been wanting for us to make a road trip to Loretta Lynn's ranch somewhere in Tennessee where she does concerts. Not something I'd normally listen to but I almost always enjoy live music so I know we'll have a good time.

Because it was a nice thing to do and made the lady's day. If not year. Not a PR event, not promoting a movie, just quietly did it. I can't say I've ever gone out of my way like that for a stranger, just to be nice.
