The key word in your statement is "probably". It would be nice to confirm the reality of the statement so that the issue (if there is an issue), could be resolved. Are you able to do further testing, remove other mods, and focus on his cloud mod to help get to a solid conclusion?
It would also be nice to know exactly what your hardware configuration is, as this may help in the analysis.

In regard to 4L0M's terrific Effects Mods..and I have a relatively low/mid end PC by today's standards I guess.

GPU is a Nvidia GTX 660 Ti
CPU is E8400@3.00Ghz
RAM is 2.7GB
OS is Win XP

I have absolutely no fps issues whatsoever with 4L0M's MOD..

or anyone else's for that matter..flat 58-60 at 99% of the time..save 1918 large encounters when it drops somewhat.

I guess I've just been very fortunate, I have a middle of the road system and I haven't had a single issue with 40LM's work. IMHO, his mod has taken a beautiful sim and made it more beautiful, so whether you guys include it or not it's no skin off my nose because I won't fly without it.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply anything is wrong with your mod, 4L0M. Any problems with your mod are purely on my end. As I said, I have a very weak card, I think it is a NVidia GTX 460 v.2, a three or four year old card.

As far as the crashes, I had maybe two or three crashes total with WOFF unmodded. It was only after using his cloud mod that I began to see crashes on a more regular basis (once every three or four missions). But, again, I'm sure this is due to my card and not any defect in the mod itself.

Guys we only include things that fix something that we didn't get to, or actually add something cool (like Ankor's Shaders for example). Those that may be "preferences" or some would like others wouldn't we usually don't add in obviously. Don't worry as I said (and I wish we never started this now..) we will add mods just like we have already ... i.e. not often and only if it's obviously useful or good for the vast majority of users.

yeah I opened a can of worms by mistake. I know the Devs are very careful about adding things.

If OBD wants to include my NEWS MOD they are welcome to proceed.

I think this is all a good idea as the number of mods is getting pretty large and the simpler we can make things for the average use the better.

I have no reason not to trust OBD's judgement on which mods should be included in official patches. They've done an outstanding job so far.

Better, in fact, than my judgement in buying a video card. I bought a GTX 1080 when they came out and now the 1080 TI is set to be available for the same price with 25% - 30% more processing power. /sigh. Such is way of technology and pricing. Probably should have been more patient...but that's never been my strong point. LOL

I look forward to any of the mods incorporated with in a WOFF "up date download". One would hope that the mods would be on a list that we could choose to add or not add as we choose.
