Short video showing returning flight against SW wind. List of enabled mods: - 4L0M's graphics, clouds and sky mods - heavy flak mod - FM Roll damping mod v2.0 (WIP) - Wind mod (by OldHat and JJJ65, enabled in Mission Editor)
Note: I apologize for low quality since it is my very first youtube video.

[Re: JJJ65]
I uninstalled the FM Roll damping mod because I found it too rhythmic and constant.
But I believe (not at my PC) I have installed Ankor's Enhanced head movement MOD and that I find very much more realistic and unpredictable. When I "cranked up" the wind speed with your mod to maximum, the cockpit view and to a lesser extent the chase view..had me on the brink of queasy after not too long.
Pretty realistic I found. Great work guys!

Just for info - I am testing (in video) new FM Roll damping mod v2.0, that is quite different from previously released version. However, you are right, due to nature of this mod, it can be rhytmic, because of constant adjusting of roll tendency by AI pilots. However, ingame constant pitch corrections/movement are rather rhytmic either.

The video looks great JJJ65! I thought that you had discarded the project of adding in roll to the flight model altogether. It will look rhythmic to some extent, but to my eyes it still looks more natural than virtually no roll at all in the normal sequence of flight. Not sure how you work your magic, but I'm very appreciative that you are! Thanks. Looking forward to the final release.

Thanks for support, Hellshade. I feel the some - for me it is more natural a rhytmical wing movement than none. I do not like to give up so easy . I tried to improve an airplane behaviour and controls responsiveness that was so impacted in former versions of mod and, I think, I managed that to some extent. I am going to prepare a mod of previous batch airplanes (from 1915 - 1916 period) for public test release soon.

[Re: JJJ65]
Excellent stuff, sir. Please check your PMs for my first couple of flight tests. Personally, it feels like the feeling of flight has been improved considerably, at least during Heavy Rain. I haven't tried it in other weathers yet. Hopefully tonight! By the way, I did not notice ANY impact on control, unlike your first attempt.
Thanks, sir, I am really glad you enjoy it. Although, I must admit, this mod is far from perfect yet. It is just my latest poor attempt to create an illusion of more natural flight behaviour, especially in bad weather, without impact to airplane flight control. However, if you feel some aircraft are either too exaggerated or not noticeable, let me know it, pls. I will try to make necessary corrections. Thx.

I would say we should probably bring in someone who is much more familiar with how the planes behaved, in order to get a more accurate assessment. Maybe Robert Wiggins, Jim Miller, Creaghorn, Olham? Someone of better actual knowledge than myself. I can attest the feeling of flight has improved. Accuracy of specific plane types I really couldn't reliably say.
OK, for anyone interested in testing, here is the latest version of my Roll_mod experiment (WIP) Roll_mod Place it anywhere on your disc and run FM_Pacher.jar file, then click Apply mod button. To disable mod, rerun FM_Pacher and choose "Restore". Do not forget to disable/restore this mod before any WOFF UE update. [Re: JJJ65]
Has anyone else tried this? The in cockpit effect seems extremely well done, IMHO. It's likes like a natural extension of AnKors in cockpit G-Force effects update. I haven't noticed any downsides to it yet.
