No boobies, and no battles.
Not every episode can have those. There is such a thing as character moments and development as well as set up. If we were on the 10 ep. per season count, I'd wholeheartedly agree. But with so few remaining episodes, they need to hurry it up a little. Just a little.

Bran crossed The Wall. The Wall did not fall. Hmmm... Something worse happened. Bran's been touched by the Night King, which means that no magical barrier set against him between Bran will work. That's how the Night King managed to get into the Three Eyed Raven's lair. Benjin told Bran that since he's a wight he can't go South of the The Wall, implying there's a magical, as well as physical dynamic at work. But now.... Bran is to blame for the Army of the Dead going south of The Wall. (which is why I was shouting at the TV that they shouldn't let him go through the gate!) [Yet another edit] I don't think Arya is going to wind up in King's Landing straight away. She's going to go North to Winterfell first, diverted for some reason.

LMAO!! I thought one of the best aspects of the first episode were all of the scenes with The Hound. It was just a very poignant and moving character beat where he was burying the farmer and daughter who had helped him just a few weeks earlier.

Can't really complain. Looked crisp and "full HD-y". How/ where did you watch? Streaming? Looks like HBO's and Sky's servers broke down due to the "unexpected" amount of viewers - which in itself deserves a big, fat Maybe servers couldn't keep up, or your provider had to downgrade the signal due to limited bandwidth?

I was a little surprised to see/hear a certain person locked in a cell in the Citadel.

We got boobies....we got a battle. All is well in GoT now.
The Sandsnakes were sexy, but they rode the road to disappointment from point A to point B. Which means Euron is super OP, or just happened to have to fight the Sandsnakes.
Reek is back... yay?
This show has a thing for eunuchs...they don't die... but like an 80's horror movie, Greyworm did the nasty, so he is marked now. (very historic episode, first heterosexual scissoring on TV).
Nymeria was a c**k tease. But my guess we will see her and the Wolfpack in the future doing some awesome ripping and tearing. Hopefully Arya can lend a hand to Sansa.
By the way, Hotpie's actor opened his own bakery...http://www.digitalspy.com/showbiz/game-of-thrones/news/a832940/game-of-thrones-hot-pie-deliveroo-bakery-direwolf-bread/
Jon going South is good for the battle with the White Walkers, bad for everything else. Sansa is now ripe for Littlefinger to influence to his liking, especially if he gets the other houses (that were not OK with Jon leaving) putting pressure on her. Especially now that he knows that Jon is definitively not a fan.
The Citadel and Sam continue to provide the much needed repulsive and nasty segment of the show. That follow up with the pie was brilliant.
Tyrion would be pleased to know he has left a good impression with the Stark clan.
The Red Keep's R&D... we keep the dragons at bay...Blackwater Bay that is. Who would have thought long iron spears shot from a giant ballista can kill a flying lizard?...hmmm.
By the way, Cersei had me convinced to fight on her side. That Targeryen monster is really bad for Westeros.
In the scene at Dragonstone's table, there was not a single whole man around that table. With the exception of maybe Olenna.
Once again...first thing to die in the battle plan, is the battle plan. Danny should have listened to everyone and burn King's Landing to a crisp. There would be time later to rebuild.

The not-so-good: I found this episode weaker than the previous one. IMO, the showrunners are wasting too much time with their expositional moving around of the chess pieces (one full episode and 9/10th of the second). Only 5 episodes left this season. Lots of filler moments in this one that only advance the plot in babysteps. I can't shake the feeling that Benioff and Weiss are a little lost without GRRM. The footage was sped up quite noticeably during the Greyjoy fleet battle. Only thing missing was the Benny Hill score. Also, I fear we have a major shark-jumping moment coming up before the season in over. I can only hope that particular story leak was fake. The good. Sam Tarly's scenes are fun and he's learning a lot. I was just puzzled a little, because in the book he read last episode, there was a page detailing the curing effect of Dragonglass for Greyscale (Scales? Dragons? There just has to be a connection there). And Shereen was living on Dragonstone. He should have been able to put two and two together. Maybe we've only witnessed the first part of the procedure. I feel Jorah still has some role to play, probably giving his life to protect Khaleesi (from the Mountain, perhaps? Or discount Francis Drake ?) Queen Cersei's speech. "You see, Lord Vader, she can be reasonable." The Queen of Thorns giving some sound advice to the Mother of Dragons. Next episode should feature an epic battle for Casterly Rock, at last.
