I'd take that with a huge grain of salt. It's all speculation right now when season 8 will come.

That 18 month estimate comes from the executive producers themselves.

His plan might have worked if he hadn't told Sansa what he thought Arya's ultimate goal was. That really pegged Sansa's BS-O-Meter. The old Sansa would have blurted out why he was wrong, she really learned a lot in the past several years. Something clever, indeed, Lord Baelish.

Unlike Gaius Baltar from the rebooted BSG, Baelish did not get away from all of his past sins.

He definitely got greedy, and probably prideful, not liking it if he isn't stirring the pot to manipulate.
If he'd just stayed in his role supporting with his army, he would've at least bought himself some time.
Sansa clearly had his sins mapped out and would've gotten around to him eventually, but he proved he
couldn't be left alone undealt with.
Great season, despite being so rushed. I guess next season will move even faster. Fight the undead, assassinate the head dude so they all drop...on to Kings Landing with all of the favorites on one side.
But what deal did Tyrion make? I don't think he was just looking sad because of Jon in the room. Gotta be something bad.

Based on what I've read so far the final season will only be 6 episodes but all of them will be about 90 minutes long.

I think they want to stretch it closer to when they have their spinoff in production.

Right now the word is that season 8 will air anytime between 12-18 months from now. I think it may be closer to 12 months but that's just my best guess. What is known for sure is that season 8 starts shooting in October.

I have really enjoyed everything the Dragons did this year. Truly a work of screen art. I hope they get an award for it. I have started rooting for the ice dragon. LOL .

And what role will Jamie play now? He's not the "king Slayer" for nothing...

Reading the books, I'm incredibly impressed with the writing of the show. They add a good bit, but all it does is flesh out the characters even more.

Season 2 of Westworld is currently shooting. It will not air until the Spring of 2018 at the earliest. My personal guess is that it will air in the Summer of 2018.
