I haven't been receiving any notification emails either. It started a couple months ago after the SimHQ outage that happened. I hadn't thought about a time frame when they stopped but now that you mention it before the outage is the last time I remember getting one too. I get email notification when people use the notify moderator button. Don't have the other notifications on; just that one.

I am not trying to be pushy I am just wondering if there is any news on this front. Things still stand the same as my prior post in that I am still not getting any notifications.
Wheels Same here. Yesterday I saw a post telling me a PM would be sent, which they did, but received no email notification.

The forum upgrade shook something loose it seems. Everything has been ending up in my spam folder but at least things are being delivered. Hopefully my saying they aren't spam will eventually stop them from being delivered to the Spam folder instead of my Inbox. No one has sent me a Private Message since the forum upgrade. Wheels

Thanks, I got the email notification for the test PM CyBerkut. It also ended up in my Spam folder. Supposedly if I reply to one of the emails AoL will quit sending messages from SimHQ to my spam folder. Reply I sent to the webmaster email address: Sorry about this, I am trying to get the notification messages to stop being sent to my Spam folder. Replying to one of the emails seems to be the only option. Whitelisting Senders And Domains Using AOL Web MailIf you are using AOL web mail, simply replying to an email from the Sender you want to whitelist will automatically add the list as a safe sender. Email from that domain will then be delivered straight to your Inbox. https://www.thebalance.com/how-do-i-whitelist-email-sender-or-a-domain-in-aol-3515039Wheels I will have to wait and see if that solves the problem? Nothing I am doing is keeping the emails from being sent to my Spam Folder. I have attempted to resolve the issue through AoL and they have told me that requesting a whitelisting of the site is the only option left. Might require submitting a trouble ticket first? These are things I can not do for SimHQ. Note: If it's been less than five days since you marked the message as Spam, you can still move it back to your inbox. After five days, your Spam folder will be automatically deleted. Moreover, please note that AOL spam controls filter emails for possible spam, even before the mail reaches your Inbox or Spam Folder. This system is largely reputation-based, so, senders with good reputation will have their emails delivered (at which point, your personal filters will perform the extra filtering). Emails from senders with bad reputation are blocked. If our Global Filters decide to block an email, we return the message to the sender with a mailer-daemon error explaining why the email was returned. The reputation system uses several criteria for identifying potential spam emails: - sender reputation: the system will check the records for spam complaints registered for the sender's email address issued by other AOL members - IP reputation: the system will check whether the sender's IP was used in the past to send spam emails to AOL addresses - content: the system will scan the content of each email and identify potential spamming markers or sources (usually presented as links to other websites, which are known spam sources). As the reputation system is dynamic and varies with time for each individual sender or email, using the Not Spam button for every occurrence of incorrect email delivery (to the Spam folder instead of your Inbox) is necessary and will help resolving this issue in the long term. (I have been moving the emails for over three weeks and my last correspondence with AoL the only response they gave me was for you, SimHQ, to request the whitelisting of the site.)Additionally, if possible, it would be best for the sender to access https://postmaster.aol.com/trouble-ticket. On the provided web page, the sender will have to file a request to make sure that his address will be whitelisted. Wheels, RacerGT suggest that you give it a try now. I was watching this thread and your notification was sent to my Inbox. I will have to watch over the next few days and see how it goes but whatever Racer did has made things better.
