So, I think I have followed the instructions properly and done the DX9 thing as stated and all that stuff.

However, at the end of the flight, I do the Control Q step, then hit Enter to close it down. The screen goes black and the music from the sim is still playing and no matter what button or combo of buttons I try, I have to reset the computer and re-boot and start all over again.

What next?

Are you running WOFF as the administrator in Windows?

Setting compatibility of CFS3, or WOFF or both to "Windows 7" fixed it for me.

Disable your campaign music and videos. That worked for me.
