WOW got up this AM and fogs so thick I can't see my neighbors house 75 yards away..Being from New England that's normal but first time I've seen it this bad here..I was listening but no fog horns.Glad I'm retired driving in this soup would be dangerous for hitting deer ,Done that twice since being here

The absolute worst fog I've ever experienced is on the road between London or Corbin to Hazard. In Kentucky, mind you.

The fog settles in the valleys of the mountains to about zero visibility and can stick around for easily half a day even with sunshine.

Traveling from Castletown to Wick on my old Honda 175 the fog was so thick I could hardly see past my headlamp. After traveling about 10 miles leaning over the front of the bike peering ahead and seeing very little even at 20 to 25 mph, I sat up and found that the fog was only about waist high trapped between the stone walls at the sides of the road. It was an earie sight a ribbon of fog laid out in front of me

Worst fog I have ever encountered, walking off the frozen lake in early spring
at night with my brother and 2 other friends. Temps were above freezing and the
fog was so thick, non of us could see our feet. Had to practically crawl to tell
where we were going. took us 2 hours to go 300ft back to the boat launch. We had
to make sure we had contact with each other the entire way as there was open water
near creek by the boat launch. nothing like taking a swim and never be seen again.
