Hi guys, I've been trying to login at CombatAce for the past couple of days to download the Koren Air War mods for SF2. But when I log in it says "Sorry, you don't have permission to visit this community." I can see my "Bucksnort" id in the upper right corner, but can't do anything (and now it won't even let me log out...lol). I sent an email to their support address forums@combatace.com but haven't heard back yet. If anyone here knows anyone over at CombatAce that can contact an Admin that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks! The first thing I was going to do was change my email address of record at CombatAce, as I moved out of my ISP's service area several years ago and had to get a new primary email address at our new ISP. So right now, they can't even send me an email from the CombatAce site because they don't have my new email address. Maybe I should just register as somebody new, but I hate changing login names...I can't remember who I'm supposed to be where!

Make sure you check your spam filter on your email. Same thing happen to me here at SimHQ, for the past five years I couldn't log in, couldn't remember my password, couldn't register as a new member, change email address a long time ago so they couldn't send me a new password. Contacted SimHQ but heard nothing back because the email they send to me end up in the spam folder, just found out today when I happen to take a look inside and found the email from SimHQ with my password I'm glad to be back Marc..

Hi Marc, Thanks for the advice, and I've double checked that stuff. Does anyone know if CombatAce.com is being actively managed any more? I've not heard from anyone for almost a week now, and I've not been a bad boy over there...maybe 50 to 100 posts lifetime with mostly "How to" questions...no politics. So I know I'm not in trouble over there. I think my ID just aged out and needs to be reset some how. And I don't know if moderators can do that. Is there anybody still over there with the keys to the back room? Thanks! Second question: Does anybody know CombatAce's policy on multiple login ID's. Some places like Facebook don't care if you have 4 or 5 accounts, one for each member of your household using a common home computer. But some forums, in particular some of the gaming forums, don't allow that. They only allow one login ID per common computer or common IP address for a home network. So I don't want to try a new ID at CombatAce yet, as then I might actually get in trouble over there. Does anybody have any kids with unique login ID's at CombatAce on a shared home gaming computer? Is that OK over there? If so, then I'll just make a new ID. If not, I'll not try and possibly end up making matters worse. Thanks again guys!

Finally I was able to get onto CA I sent numerous emails through Yahoo no response waited a few days with the OOPS you can't do that ,,,Then it would open up using a bookmark I had to an old post there,,,I clicked on reply and clicked on forgot my password got an email through outlook,,tried resetting my password still was getting kicked...After 3 or 4 tries I saw they had my username as JG51Ruski which was the wrong one...I replied and explained that the user name was wrong and later in the day got a reply correcting the error and a new password,,Log on successfully and got the Korean War mod for SF2 CA is a valuable resource for SF2..Heading back today to get some Viet Nam mods and they are all going to a cd before installing them,,,,,Thanks to the mods at CA
