I have fiddled around with the wind settings inside the weather folder without any success. Therefore, I made my own dynamic weather file - i.e. random periods of no wind, slight wind, and strong wind during the mission. It works inside campaign (see how below), but I'll need to make about 24 of them to span the entire year in order to create variety.

To install:
1. Download OFFDynamicMissionWeatherMOD.xml and copy it to your X:\OBDSoftware\WOFF\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields\weather directory.
2. Activate Mission Editor option in workshop

3. When the ME pop up appears, Alt-tab out of WOFF and go to X:\OBDSoftware\WOFF\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields\missions\historical
4. Open OFF_Camp_Mission.xml with notepad
5. Find and rename OFFDynamicMissionWeather.xml to OFFDynamicMissionWeatherMOD.xml
6. Save changes and fly your mission

Video of Installation: See begining, then you can skip the loading screens to 1:11.

This looks interesting OldHat,thank you for your continued modding work on WOFF.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Thank you, because I looked all through the WorkShop and could not for the life of me, find anything that could be abbreviated as "ME".

I have re-done some of the different weather states, but not yet all of them. Activate via JSGME. Download here.

How to use (see video above in original post)

The file names need to be exact when replacing it inside the mission file. Only choose one random file to replace.

Once you see the weather brief screen, you can choose a file for that type of weather.

So far, I have done

1. Good - clear skies
2. Medium - some clouds
3. Heavy - heavy clouds
4. Precip - precipitation (snow or rain - not yet differentiated in this version)
5. Variable - anything

EDIT: For a challenge, try to land a Morane (or similar light British/French/German craft) with Heavy01.xml on a short field.

EXTRA Challenge: 50% or lower fuel load and Land as a Type2 engine - cut or blip the engine and glide until landing.

OldHat;

This mod offers some really need weather options, however, and I don't speak for everyone, for me it is too time consuming to have to use ME for every mission I fly in a campaign.
Is there any way to have it implemented dynamically within WOFF itself as an ultimate solution?

Best Regards;

Czech Rep.
But you do not need to use ME at all. Have you seen OldHAt's video?
However, OldHat contacted me and we are working on implementation of his weather options as a new ME feature, so, it can be easily choosen from inside of ME without any need to manual modifying and saving wether file(s).

I hope that the devs can give that option inside workshop, because it's beyond my reach.
