No way. In two years, computer hardware will be scrambling to catch up with near full field of view 8k stereo VR with laser head tracking instead of the use of cameras and probably the first prototypes of focal accommodation through the use of eye tracking and adaptive optics. I predict augmented reality will prove not to be the major killer app for this head-mounted hardware, but first-person games and flight sims. VR will be the major impetus for pushing desktop advances, though.
