I am just starting to fly helos in eech with the 1.16.0 allmods installed and have a few questions / problems with the joystick setup.First off, I am using a
Saitek X55 Rhino Stick and Throttle quadrant; and
Saitek Pro Flight Rudder pedals. Everything is working fine (once I figured out to click multiple times in the controls setup in EECH) but I have a couple of issues. First: I have a deadzones on all devices, No deadzones set in the X55 software and edited the EECH.INI to supposedly remove any deadzones(set all to linear as I read a post here to do so). I don't mind the deadzones on the stick and rudder too much, but having a deadzone in the middle of the throttle quadrant controlling the collective is driving me nuts.
Second problem: I am going to use the X55 software to program the keyboard commands to all the switches / buttons... I want to use; but am having a problem with the first 4 buttons; as they are internally programmed by EECH as 1:fire weapons, 2:select next weapon, 3:select target, 4:padlock target. Is there any way to disable / remap these 4 buttons in EECH? I especially want button 4 as the Trim command (T on the keyboard mapped to the thumb button on the stick{4} with the X55 software) and as it is now, it does both padlock target through EECH and Trim{T} through the X55 software at the same time! I have looked through the EECH folder for any type of joystick config files, searched the internet for answers; both without any luck.
