Thanks for the heads-up. Is there anything posted that shows details of this? Is it also a campaign? Like where might I see a OoB or something? Looks nice. What is Ostee? About the DCS comment. I don't know about that. I should know better than what I am about to say... since I've gotten back in to flight sims I've been having a look around. I've spent some time in the DCS forum and I just end up wondering why everyone does it? I just shake my head. All I see is anger and disappointment. There must be a redeeming quality, but to read the forum you won't know what it might be. It looks nice? Anyway, I'm glad we have BMS to fly

Good one Not to derail your thread, but which alternative BMS theaters are the most fleshed out? Which ones have good working campaigns?

Anyway, I'm glad we have BMS to fly My DCS comment was about the only true advantage of DCS over BMS which is graphics or more precisely terrain graphics. As such that "Ostee" terrain (for BMS) is indeed (in my opinion) very close in terms of graphical quality to the maps of DCS (at least to the level of DCS Black Sea map). Regarding the rest, I also agree - I'm also glad that we have BMS!

When are you going to retire so you can concentrate on helping us in a more timely manner? Work! Pfft
Thanks for the info.
Is the Balkans more or less the same as the AF Balkans?
Edit: I actually read the thread you linked to...

@ ricnunes
Should be a zip folder. Install instructions are included. IIRC, there is a zip file inside the main zip file. Extract that to the data folder and add the line in the lst folder under terradata.
Sorry, I'm at work. I'll check back tonight and if you haven't got it by then, I will try to give more detailed instructions. First of all thanks for the reply. Well I tried again, first by accessing the link on your first post ( https://tomsflightart.jimdo.com/) and then clicked the "Ostsee-Theater Download" link/tab and finally clicked the link below the "Tom`s Ostsee-Theater for 4.33" tag (DOWNLOAD OSTSEE THEATER 3.2.6). After downloading the file (OstseeTheaterMod for FalconBMSU3Version3.2.6.rar) I tried to open the file - I use WinRAR (which opens both .zip and .rar files) - and again I got the same error! When I try to open the file (OstseeTheaterMod for FalconBMSU3Version3.2.6.rar) get a message that should translate to English to something like: "The file is damaged or in an unknown format".

The Israeli theater is highly recommended!
Many thanks. I might try that out next.

Many thanks. I might try that out next. Try the Delilah in ITO (Israeli Theater of Operations). That will keep you busy for a while!

Isn't that a cruise missile? Are those in the campaign?

ricunes - since you downloaded the package twice and got same results I'm guessing it may be your RAR tool. I used 7-Zip and extracted fine. Download 7-Zip (it's free) and try again.
btw my Ostsee download was 2,243,278Kbytes in size for you to compare what you downloaded Thanks for the heads up, your post solved my problem Actually I first used 7-Zip that I had installed in my PC but it didn't work. Then I remembered to download and install the latest version of 7-Zip and voila, it worked! So and resuming this file apparently can (only?) be extracted using the latest/later version of 7-Zip.
