Those pics were on the WOTR prior to the poll's conclusion.

Are you sure they are screenshots from the game? I just figured they were photos. I see that they are planning to start the sim at the beginning of the war and slowly work their way up to the end. If they are doing that, I don't see why they would have built a Lancaster already.

Dont know where they are from, but they sure look like 3d models. Nice to have a mix of fighters and bombers to start with !

The Lanc won't be in the Battle of France, so I don't see it being in the first release... unless of course they have made outstanding progress smile

So the Spit won, big deal. A WW2 sim in Europe is going to have them. Get over it.

I prefer to look at them like this:

"Take the cylinder out of my kidneys,
The connecting rod out of my brain, my brain,
From out of my arse take the camshaft,
And assemble the engine again."

Well, it does have beautiful sleek lines. How could you not like it's looks! Everyone should have one in their garage! biggrin

Yes, it really looks good and because everyone has one in his garage and have already flown many hours in it, I would prefer something more rare and challenging, e.g. Me110 wink.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.

If they are really starting with the Battle of France and the Lowlands, then don't they have to have Spitfires. What would really be nice is to see the Dewoitine D.520. I don't see how you could even do the Battle of France without that plane.

No Spitfires were allowed to go to France in the initial deployment I believe... Dowding would not allow it.
Hurricanes, Fairey Battles and Blenheims would be appropriate. There are a wealth of French types that would be welcome though, and it would be the first time that any developer had had a go at representing them. smile

We need more French 2-seaters! Oh wait, wrong "Wings".

A few IK-3s would be fun! They were a touch better than Me109s when they first attacked Yugoslavia.
