Many of you remember MASH and the list of instructions to defuse a bomb that included " but first" --not a good idea.
The printed out instructions is comming from one of you fine fellows --- so I am ok there --- I hope.
What I have now are about 60 downloads ( from Microsoft ) in my file that have not been installed. This goes back to the "Win 10" issue we all were upset about last fall. Some are for win 10 to "slip in" or so the conversation went.
The the Question -- what are the numbers that I should not install. Or has the "witch hunt gone away"???
My Win7 home pro is working just fine. Some day I will upgrade and Win 10 will be the only choice -- Or Not.
Thanks in advance for your well thought out responce!

How to start? From a WOFF UE point of view, just put DVD in drive, run the installer. Then run DX9 installer all laid out nicely step by step in the WOFF UE FAQ. Any issues after that are pretty much all covered in the FAQ. http://www.overflandersfields.com/index_html_files/FAQ%20WOFF%20UE.pdfsee the early sections for a start. The rest you are asking about I don't understand what you mean so maybe leave those alone for the moment

Thanks POL, I will give it a go ASAP.
I sure hope some of the other "Gurus" help out on what to do with all of the other 60+ Microsoft downloads that are stored and awaiting to be installed.
Especialy the ID #'s of those few that could cause a switch over to Win 10.
Don't think I want to do that just yet!

After 3 times to download the update 4.12 I give up for a day or two!
All attempts were alike as all stopped at 10 seconds for up to 5 minutes and longer before I gave up. Also some of the websites under the FQ "help sources" went to a blank page.
I need a few days off from this MASSIVE computer crap that I can never get right and the frustration gets to the point that all I can do is shut the SOB off and walk away!!!!
