I have an ASP Explorer and just updated the FSD from 5C to 5B which now gives me 20 ly unladen.
Bailout, I meant "in game"; it would have been nice to get some information in the game, maybe in the system map at the engineer's location what kind of requirements you'd have to meet before flying there.

I was making much more money with my previous T-6 which was optimized for strict trading (no weapons, improved boosters to escape quickly, etc.). But hauling freight was becoming boring quickly.
I have 1x 1G pulse laser (turret), 1x 1E beam laser, 2x 1G multicannon and 2x 2F mulitcannons. That setup used to tear enemy AI ships to shreds (kill their shields with the energy weapons, rip them to shreds with the mulitcannons). Not any longer!
