Hi all, after a long time layoff from F4 I decided to get back in to it. Downloaded and installed BMS. I'm running Win 10 on my new box and seemed to have gotten CCP and Foxy up and running.

The problem is my throttle doesn't work. Pot is bad I'm sure. Until I can get that fixed I need to re-assign the throttle. I'd like to put it on the Antenna rotary for the time being. I could also use the "-" and "=" keys if necessary.

In F4:AF I used a Jagstang file that I had modified to some extent. From the little I've read, it seems that the Dunc files are the ones to use in BMS. Or I'm open to suggestions if you feel there's a better one. At this stage any file is fine since I'm just starting off.

So what I'm asking is how can I re-assign the throttle. Ideally one of you programming experts will post the syntax and instructions for doing so. As mentioned, putting the throttle on the antenna and reassigning ant elevation to the keyboard or even the mouse wheel is my preferred fix.

Are there any Cougar users who could help me with this?

Thanks Sokol. I will have to get it fixed, and changing to Hall sensors is a good idea. However in the meantime I would still be looking to get the temp fix up and running so I can fly tonight.

A look from a different viewpoint... in the sim, under controllers>advanced>flight controls are all axes to show in the dropdown for throttle? For example should I see the antenna rotary in this dropdown? I only see the Cougar, keyboard and mouse wheel. If the antenna axis should show here that would mean I've done something wrong. Can anyone confirm if the antenna should appear here?

Thanks to some help at the BMS forum I think perhaps it is because the antenna axis is already assigned to a different function. That causes it not to show in the dropdown, theoretically. I'll check when work is done. I hope that's what it is because I'd like to start flying! Been too long since I've flown some hops.

Sorted. The antenna elevation rotary was assigned to antenna elevation of all things. Just had to un-assign then re-assign.
