I am very excited. Thank you OBD for continuing to feed my love of single player flying sims.

I gave a thumbs up earlier, but its not here, so I'll say again, excited to see the project moving forward.

Every time I think it might be nice to retire, OBD forces me to keep earning...

I'm not as big a fan of Heavy Metal as I am the Canvas Falcons but I'm interested enough to eventually obtain this Sim when available! Accept my donation and... beercheers

Please let it have a replay feature! That is the only thing that really hurts WOFF IMO. The lack of ability to view your old flights. I want to sit back and watch my old battles.

My only real concern is if the old CFS3 engine is up for this.
These guys do pull off some impressive work with WOFFUE but I am worried that there will be a whole new level of stutter if this engine is pushed farther.

Well...if anyone can do it....they can.

The "old" CFS3 engine has been heavily modified and parts replaced with brand new code in many places. Utterly new replaced AI, new rendering, new DM code, FM code etc blah so yes of course it can do it. WOFF UE I'd say is one of the best sims out there without question.

Pol, how many times are you going to answer this same question? Have you got some button to just push and move on? Man! Luckily for me I had a limited background in sims, (my gaming world was primarily paper and due to crappy computers, very simple hex related games), so I had no idea this, CFS3, was such a big deal. So when I ran into OFF/HITR I was blown away and now that we've moved to WOFFUE I'm totally satisfied and even more 'blown away'. And yes I've checked out RoF etc., and WOFFUE looks and handles so damn good. Love to see what you guys come up with in WOTR, and I'm completely positive you've handled 'whatever' the old CFS3 engine has left in your system. Please, moving on now. . . . . S

Yeah true SteveW. Usually people who like other sims and want to justify their purchase - I have no understanding as to why that is so. They say one liners to try to put other sims like WOFF down. I even saw one post incorrectly referring to WOFF UE as 2002 graphics.. huh? If so then just about every sim out there has 2000 graphics.

I'm really excited about this game. I only found out about WOFF recently, so I'm pretty late to the party.

Will I need to purchase CFS3 in order for WOTR to work, once it releases? I'm still reading through posts so if it is already answered I will hopefully dig it up soon. No harm in asking I hope.

Best, and I look forward to the release.

Well Pol you have a lot of patience I'll give you that! And in lots of ways you have to keep it up since in reality it may affect the bottom line, 'i.e. sales'. So I'll continue to ride the 'ignorance is bliss' horse since I didn't bring in a lot of foregone conclusions when I started this little OFF/WOFF journey. And I don't really think it's the 'price tag' of WOFFUE either, pound for pound it's at the top of the list. Anyway, looking forward to WOTR. S.
