I've been wanting to get into Falcon BMS for a while (still waiting for DCS F-18 after three years), and am finally getting things set up. I have a couple view settings questions:

1) I feel like my virtual head is sitting up too high in the cockpit. Is there any way to adjust the default head height? Keep in mind I use TrackIR and recenter often.

2) Can we do snapviews? I like to have a zoomed in snapview of each MFD.

Thank you in advance. . .

You've been waiting for DCS F-18 for three years? We've been waiting for it since DCS A10C was released 5+ years ago!

1. No way to adjust head position AFAIK. You can change your FOV but the head position stays the same. The solution as suggested is to sit up, adjust TIR, then go back to your normal sitting position. Not ideal, but that's what it is.

2. I believe you can do custom snap views. No idea how though, sorry. It'll have to do with editing some .cfg file somewhere. Check out \Falcon BMS 4.33.2\Data\Art\ckptart\3dckpit.dat file, there are entries for Guided Snap Views on line 77, then Center/Left/Right views. Sorry I can't be of more help; I extract my MFD images onto a secondary monitor so I have no need to "zoom in" on MFDs.
