Small clock hand moves only in 12 steps, ie. it will stay for example at number 5 regardless if is 5:01 or 5:59 Hrs. It will move to cipher 6 exactly at 6:00 Hrs and will stay there till 6:59 Hrs. And so on.

another marvelous crumb.....cool. There's also a sort of vent pipe to the right of the pilot in early Spads. What is it? I see it in cockpit but not externals.
