Hi guys, just came to introduce myself.

I am from Czech Republic and I have been flying enthusiast since original Il2 came out. Been flying online a lot with my squadron, but recently, I am fed up with those online experiences, its just all the same..

So I began flying ROF campaigns, which I didn´t like that much. Wanted something similar to RB3D, which I loved deeply. And this weekend, I finally found it in WOFF UE. Its just exactly what i wanted. So I started´my new career as an EIII pilot and failed horribly. That beast is really hardcore. So I quit and started a new one, flying an Aviatik BI and after my first mission, I must say this sim is really awesome, so immersive, just like in the books smile.

Only thing that bothers me in this game is the unability to change the FOV.. I´ve been used to sit far back, to have better awareness, but, I guess I will get used to it soon.
Also I am experiencing a black screen after every mission, but I found a solution on this forum with the Win 10 compatibility, will test it today evening and I hope it will work.

I wish you guys good luck in the air and a happy new year IRL.

IT IS possible. Default keys are "[" and "]". But you can use Pilot viewpoint mod here Pilot viewpoint mod .
Anyway, welcome on board. If you need any assistance, you can contact me over PM, even in Czech :-).

Dryjo, welcome to WOOF UE! As you say, it is a fantastic. You will also find the folks in this community some of the most helpful and friendly flyers around, even if our bubble is a bit off center!

Someone might be able to help with the FOV. Have you tried the zoom in, zoom out?

Happy flying and watch your six!

Welcome aboard Dryjo, you are in for a lot of great flying and fighting in the WOFF skies. As MFair has mentioned, we are all quite helpful around here so don't hesitate to ask for assistance when you need it. Also, and this is most important, new lads buy the drinks!

cheers

Cheers!

Lou

Lou, get the ceremonial paddle out. That merits 3 whacks! That was on my 1st cup of coffee, now on my third and alert.

Thank you guys for advice and a warm wellcome. And JJJ, I will be happy to buy you a beer, when you´re coming to Prague, as any other fellow here, as the new one always buys the drinks smile
