I am being a lazy #%&*$#, but please forgive me this one time for asking what must have been asked a million times already. Does it work better with a flight controller or Keyboard and mouse? I have an X-52 Pro just in case, but I am asking for gameplay purposes.

The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

I can't say, as I've used my HOTAS (X45) since day one. The feeling of control is excellent with the HOTAS, for me.

I've never used the keyboard/mouse or my XBox 360 controller for flight controls (just UI type stuff), so can't comment on them.

Cool, so chances are that my X-52 will work well enough for space combat. Thanks AdLabs6.

Mouse+keyboard here all the way. Never had a problem even with combat. I'm not saying it's the best way to play it,just that it works for me. I did try a stick but I couldn't get on with it.

As a flight simmer, I felt more natural with my HOTAS + TIR + rudders setup. When I needed to help my son who flies via KB+M, I found it very hard... but he flies perfectly fine so I guess it just depends how used you are to your controls. When you think "yaw right" instead of "left index finger on the . key", that's easier to fly and fight in. So go for whatever's most comfy for you or if you really, really want to, go for what you want to get used to using.
