rezerkted, buy BoS. I have an I-7-4790K@4.00GHX, 16GB Ram and a GTX 980Ti. With DX11 I get flips in the high of 160 to low of around 80.
You should good performance.

Especially now as BOS has been updated to DX11, you should be in very good shape with your rig for running the sim.
It is going to love that GTX 1070.

similar setup here with 1080. buried at 60fps at all times as far as I can tell. synced. with dx11 it truly is magical. glad I picked this game up. going to be here for a while i think. awesome.

OK, thanks. Just read about DX11 patch so am going to buy the game today.

Just bought it and with default settings of high it didn't feel all that smooth but was playable. Changed it to balanced and don't really notice a dif. Am going to have to test with a frame rate counter. I have 144hz monitor and it feels to me like it is locked at 60hz. I will use Nvidia Inspector to set it to use max refresh rate and see if there is a dif.

something up. you should be ultra smooth

they added a fps counter in the sim. just hit backspace by default button to toggle.

with your rig you should be destroying fps maxed out.

OK, will check with fps counter. But this game was using 60hz and when I forced the game to use max refresh rate using Nvidia Inspector I could tell the dif and it now is smooth.

One of the best upgrades I have ever made was getting a 144hz monitor. I wasn't expecting to tell the dif but I could and it felt like a new video card upgrade but the downside is that now I can tell the dif between 60hz and 144hz where as before 60hz seemed fine to me.
