Partly incorrect. The next planned update will be the all in one patch of existing TF content that will be released as a free upgrade to all existing owners. They are targetting early next year for this release. The North African campaign will be released after that and will be payware via Steam.

Yeh and if that payware is released, the free all in one pack, that only contains the actual packs btw, will be removed from the website.
So if intending to buy Clod, download the ATAG4 packs and store it as an back up, just in case.

But TF, you did a perfect job on the ATAG4 packs and I still think it is good news that you recieved finally the source code.

I already have CloD and TF patched up to 4.312. Do I need to buy something else now or is that only after they release their next update?

I too have have CloD and TF patched up to 4.312 and do not recall installing any "ATAG4 packs".

Could be something has changed, but on what I did know the 4.312 is the last extra hotfix pack. Think there are 2 or 3 of packs. One basic pack and the rest were Corrections/Hotfixes. Seems now they are going to push all the separate to one version so included the corrections/hotfixes, a splendid idea I think.

About a couple of weeks I'm going to reinstall Clod & Bos including the Malta pack for TF4 mod.

All TF patches will be rolled out as official free steam patch for Cliffs incorporated into the base game, so if someone had the modded game now he will have to delete everything and re-download the game, they are now Offical development team for Cliffs approved by 1C with access to the source code, in 2017 they will release a paid North Africa DLC.

It doesn't matter,even with the DVD version you need Steam to run the game.

I just downloaded it, now how do I get it to run. This is my first experience with steam. I hit play and it says running (first time install) then immediately stops. The Steam window stay up by the way.

It's propably a problem when using Windows 10. It will not work under Windows 10 as far as I know (I'm still on Windows 7),unless you install the Team Fusion patches. Which is recommended anyway,because it fixes a lot of things over original Cliffs of Dover ,which was very bugged and had some not working features,even with the latest official patch.

Welp I got it working, it took a very long download of Fusion patches and having to download new drivers for X52 to make that happen. I got this because I was always interested in the Battle of Britain, and had heard of the this game but also heard it was very buggy. Well, the eye candy is outstanding. I cannot comment on the flight models or game play at this point, maybe later.....

The real purpose of the purchase was to be a place holder until WOTR arrives.
